Scenic Byway Trail Project
Project Description
This project consists of the installation of an additional trail at the ISU Stadium Indiana Mile Interpretation Site that connects Heritage Trail to the Indiana Mile Trail and for future connection to the Brown Blvd Trail Projects. This project includes the removal and widening of the North end of the Indiana Mile Trail the installation of a trail along Brown Ave that ranges in width from 10 to 12 feet. This trail will also provide a connection at Brown & Locust as well as at 32nd St & Locust to the existing trail on the North side of Locust St.
Project Began: September 10, 2007
Final Completion: June 30, 2008
Construction Cost: $327,000.00
Funding Source: National Scenic Byway Grant Award
