Nature Center and Native American Museum Hours

The Nature Center and the Native American Museum are open from Tuesday through Saturday 9 am to 5 pm.

We are closed Sundays and Mondays.

Both buildings are closed on the following holidays:

New Year's Day Jan 1             Labor Day Sep 3
Martin Luther King Jr. Day Jan 16   Columbus Day Oct 8
Presidents' Day Feb 20   Veterans' Day Nov 11
Good Friday April 6

 

 Thanksgiving Nov 22-23
Memorial Day May 28   Christmas Dec 24-25
Independence Day July 4      













We are also closed on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in May for the Indiana primary election and the first Tuesday after the first Monday in November for the general election.

There are restroom facilities in both buildings. The park is open from dawn to dusk, and there are restrooms located near the park entrance for after hours.   The park entrance restrooms are closed during the winter months.

Vigo County is on Eastern Time, so please keep that in mind when you are planning your visit.
