Sewage Billing News: City Continues Collections and Property Liens on Delinquent Accounts. Here is What YOU Need to Know...

If you receive a bill showing a balance lower than expected, your account may be in the process of a lien or collections action.  Please call the Sewage Billing Department at (812)244-2343 to discuss payment options.  If your account is in the process of a collection action and you have received a letter from a collection agency regarding your sewage bill, you will need to follow the instructions in that letter to arrange payments or dispute the charges.  The Sewage Billing Department as well as the sewage billing vendor, TPi are not able to discuss account balances which are in active collections.

Property owners should contact the local office to inquire about unpaid sewage charges at their property which may be subject to lien.  Any and all unpaid eligible lien amounts will be filed as a lien against the property.  To avoid additional fees and penalties, property owners are strongly encouraged to inquire about unpaid sewage charges at their property.
