EMS Division

Emergency Medical Service

The THFD EMS Division is a vital component of critical pre-hospital care in the community. It is currently under the leadership of Deputy Chief Leroy Stewart. There are three full time Paramedic ambulances on duty 24 hours a day and 75% of all emergency calls that the Terre Haute Fire Department responds to are medical in nature.
Assistant Chief Dave Simpson is also assigned to this division.
