HUMAN RELATIONS COMMISSION

PLEASE READ THE REQUIREMENTS CAREFULLY BEFOR SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION

The Terre Haute City Council will appoint three members to the Human Relations Commission.  Each member will serve three (3) years for their term.  


REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICANTS:

  1. Appointees must demonstrate a commitment to the purpose for which the Commission is created
  2. The Commission must be broadly representative of the community in regard to race, religion, color, sex, national origin, ancestry, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, housing status or status as a veteran
  3. Appointees must be a resident of the City of Terre Haute or a property owner within the City of Terre Haute and reside within Vigo County

Deadline for application submission is August 1, 2024 at 4:00pm

The City Council will review the applicants during their regular meeting on August 8, 2024 at 6:00pm
