Street Department

LIMB PICKUP
The City is responsible for and will pick up limbs and debris caused by storm damage to trees in a City tree row. We will not pick up limbs, trees, debris or trimmings from a homeowner's yard. Disposal of material cut from a homeowner's yard is the responsibility of the homeowner.
Our
Mission
The mission of the Terre Haute Street department is to
provide a safe network of streets, avenues, and alleys throughout the
City. We intend to do this by responding promptly and courteously to
citizen's requests and concerns. A few of this Department's specific
responsibilities include pothole repair, grading and repairing
alleys, snow and ice removal, street sweeping, leaf
collection, mowing city right-of-ways and maintenance of
street and traffic signs.
