 July 17, 2020

On Wednesday of this week, Governor Holcomb extended Phase 4.5 of the “Back on Track Indiana” plan by an additional two weeks. Based on this modification of the state plan, the City of Terre Haute will continue to operate as we have been during Phase 4.5. See details below:

July 20th – July 31st.

  • City Court (located within City Hall) remains open only for those persons set for a scheduled hearing.
  • No other members of the public will be permitted in City Hall at this time and we ask citizens to continue conducting business with all city departments via our web-site and by telephone.
  • All other city facilities (all those other than City Hall) will remain closed to public access but “in person” appointments for critical issues can still be made by contacting the appropriate department by telephone.
  • Any member of the public entering City Hall for City Court will be screened and are required to wear a mask (along with all city staff who are interacting with those members of the public) and to practice social distancing.

This updated schedule was created using the current guidelines of the Governor’s Executive Order and is subject to change.
