Job Description:
The Automation and IT Specialist is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of automation systems at the wastewater treatment plant. This role ensures the efficient and reliable operation of all automated processes and IT systems contributing to the overall effectiveness of the plant's operations.
•Automation Systems Management:
- Design, program, and maintain PLC (Programmable Logic Controller)
- Support SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems for monitoring and controlling plant operations.
o· Troubleshoot and resolve issues with automation systems to minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of automation equipment.
- Provide technical support and training to plant staff on Automation systems and software.
•IT Infrastructure Management:
- Works with both Systems Administration and Technical Support Specialists staff in support of IT hardware and software.
