On April 8, 2024, Terre Haute, Indiana will experience a total solar eclipse at approximately 3:04:18 PM EDT. 

An estimated 10's of thousands of visitors from around the world are anticipated to flock to the city of Terre Haute and surrounding areas. Travel advisories are expected to be released as the date of the event draws closer.

FEBRUARY 15TH, 2024- RESIDENTS OF THE CITY OF TERRE HAUTE SHOULD EXPECT THE LARGE INFLUX OF VISITORS TO CAUSE TRAFFIC PILEUPS, TRAVEL DELAYS, AND MORE. RESIDENTS ARE URGED TO PREPARE FOR THIS EVENT AS THEY WOULD PREPARE FOR A WEATHER EVENT AND TAKE SIDE STREETS WHEN POSSIBLE.
